John Musca

John Musca, Esq is an experienced criminal defense attorney and the founder of Musca Law. He has devoted his career to legal representation and criminal defense. In 2001, he decided to start his own law firm after serving as a Public Defender in the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He lives by the idea that working as a criminal defense attorney is his passion, not just his job.  

Mr. Musca has represented thousands of criminal defense cases and tried more than one hundred cases. He believes in providing aggressive criminal defense and focusing on the needs of his clients. He has obtained a license to practice law in Florida and the US Federal Court, Middle District of Florida.    

Mr. Musca graduated cum laude from Boston College in 1994 and received his Juris Doctor from the Case Western University School of Law in 1997. He is fluent in both Spanish and English and attends international language studies as well as legal studies overseas at the famous “Instituto Internacional” in Madrid, Spain. John Musca and all of Musca Law are focused on providing high quality criminal defense representation to all of his clients. 

Marquin Rinard

Marquin Rinard, Esq has a very extensive knowledge of criminal defense law. He graduated from Auburn University in 1979. He has earned his Juris Doctor in 1982 from the University of San Diego.  

Mr. Rinard is a passionate criminal attorney who fights on behalf of his clients rights. He is focused on providing superior representation throughout all of his criminal cases.

Rebecca Sonalia

Rebecca Sonalia, Esq. has been with Musca Law since 2007. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2000. In 2006, She received her Juris Doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Michigan.  

Ms. Sonalia believes strongly in fighting for the rights of all the defendants she represents. She has focused on preserving those rights throughout the justice process.

Brandon L. Kolb

Brandon L. Kolb, Esq has been with the Musca Law team since 2008. He graduated from Stetson University School of Law in 2001. In 1992, Mr. Kolb completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Salisbury State University. Mr. Kolb worked in the advertising and marketing field and as a securities broker prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney.  

Mr. Kolb is a fierce attorney in the court room. He makes sure his client’s stories are told and he works hard to preserve their rights, especially when it comes to the right to a fair process. His strategy involves focusing on the weakest points in the prosecution’s case and the strongest points in your case.  

Jennifer Sam

Jennifer Sam, Esq worked as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office prior to joining the criminal defense team at Musca Law. She majored in Criminal Justice and Philosophy at the University Of Scranton. She then went on to attend the University Of Miami School Of Law. Ms. Sam is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity as well as the Florida Bar. She has been a tough advocate for all of her clients since joining Musca Law.  

In addition to her work as a professional criminal defense attorney, Ms. Sam has been a committed member of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Ms Sam is dedicated to the fight against cancer. She is the head of the LiveSTRONG Army of Southwest Florida and engages in cancer awareness and fundraising projects throughout the community.  

Lawrence Wrenn

Attorney Lawrence Wrenn is an important and valuable member of Musca Law firm. He obtained his undergraduate degree, with a major in History, from the University of Miami. He continued on to complete his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in the United States Federal Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.  

Attorney Lawrence Wrenn spent his entire legal career helping the residents and visitors of Florida. He has created a legal reputation of knowledge and experience within the field. He is an avid tennis player in his spare time. He is a contender out of the Courtroom, as well as in his hobbies. He is an experienced tennis player and certified tennis pro. Attorney Wrenn is a trusted and appreciated lawyer to his clients and the Musca Law firm. He brings skill, toughness and initiative to fight for the cause.  

Shlomi Presser

Attorney Shlomi Presser is an outstanding Florida criminal defense lawyer committed to serving his clients and the people of Miami. He completed his undergraduate degree with a major in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern College of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.  

Attorney Presser has years of criminal law experience and is a tough advocate on for his clients. He has developed a quality reputation in the Court system with a successful case track record. He has the uncanny ability to be aggressive, proactive and tactful all at once. Attorney Presser is a true asset to his clients and the firm of Musca Law.

Nirav M. Jamindar

Nirav M. Jamindar is one of the newest attorneys to the Musca Law team. He obtained his undergraduate degree, with a major in History, from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his Juris Doctorate degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and is admitted to the Florida Bar, U.S. District Court- Middle District of Florida, Middle District of Florida Bankruptcy Court.  

Attorney Jamindar takes a hand on approach to dealing with those facing criminal and/or financial difficulties. He is not afraid to fight for the “little guy.” He has inside information from working within an elite Judge’s office, as well as individuals facing financial hardships. We are excited to have Attorney Jamindar as a part of the Musca Law team. He brings compassion, knowledge and unsurpassed business relations to our Clients and the firm.

David Shestokas

We are proud to have Attorney David Shestokas join Musca Law firm from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Shestokas obtained his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Bradley University and Juris Doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School, cum laude. Attorney Shestokas studied Spanish in Cuba and Costa Rica and he also studied law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He has brought unsurpassed legal knowledge and worldly experience to our firm.

Mr. Shestokas is licensed to practice law before the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and licensed in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. In addition to practicing criminal law, he authored Get Your Illinois License Back and is a feature writer for the online magazine Law, Crime & Justice. Cook County also recruited Mr. Shestokas to work with the Felony Review Unit assisting with over 400 felony cases and police investigations.

In 1987 Attorney Shestokas started his own Chicago law firm. He later transferred to the Cook County prosecutor’s office as an Assistant State Attorney where he tried over 5,000 criminal cases. Clients who suddenly find themselves as defendants in criminal court greatly benefit from Mr. Shestokas’ insight with working inside the opposing prosecutor’s office.

His experience and stature as earned him great respect in our community. He has had the honor of holding the United States Congress (District 5) Republican nominee slot in 1990. From 1997-1998, Attorney Shestokas was a Republican candidate for U.S. Congress (District 13). Only the most elite individuals are nominated to hold public office. Mr. Shestokas’ accomplishments greatly benefit Musca Law and its clientele.
